Space Area:

Our Social Welfare Organisation is involved in working since Post-Independence period in different districts of West Bengal namely Hooghly, Howrah, Bankura, Birbhum, Burdwan, 24 Parganas (North), Purulia and Nadia. Specially in our home district, we are covering Blocks namely Serampore-Uttarpara, Haripal, Tarakeshwar, Dhaniakhali, Chanditala-I & II, Polba Dadpur, Chandannagore, Chinsurah.


The communication and transportation system is much improved than that of post few years. Most of the roads of our operational villages are presently moramed and brick-built. Our volunteers social workers, office staffs and beneficiaries are making linkages with one place to another by Train service, Bus service, Trakkers , by cycles or other automobile services whatever and whenever necessary.


We have to have different amenities in different projects. We use community assets like ‘Chandi Mandaps’ , Club-rooms, School premises, Library Hall and Community Halls with electricity. Water and sanitation facilities for organizing workshop, Seminar and Group discussion, sometimes funds are accumulated by the community people and the consolidated funds allotted from the central office. Sometimes amenities for the particular project are disbursed by the fund giving downer agencies.  


Being a volunteer organization Satya Bharati has its own Constitution and Memorandum of Association. The organization has its own staff pattern and has been delegated duties and responsibilities from the chief functionary to the staffs. They are all accountable for the organizational developmental works.

There are 2 important buildings for upholding the organizational activities, Administrative Building and Residential building for children. We have a Primary School, a Secondary School exclusively for girls, Anganwadi workers training centre, Destitute Children’s Cottage, Family Counselling Centre, Short-Stay Home for girls, Creche Programme for working women & ailing mothers, A student Library, Old Age Home and working women’s Hostel, Community Hall, organizing recreational programmes and Assembly Room for prayer.

The electric facilities, drainage system, toilets and urinal facilities, sanitation and water facilities are available. In the field areas, we have some rented rooms and some rooms are donated by the community people. 
Electricity: (availability)

   We facilitate electricity in all the room of administrative and residential buildings. Not able those 2 generators are used at emergency basis. Audio-Visual Teaching aids are constantly using in our It’s school and Anganwadi Training Centre to make the subject enjoyable and easier.

Any other:

Computer with Internet facility are available in the office, 1 telephone operator operates telephones, and Typewriter machines are there for smooth workings. Fax and e-mail service is also available.
